Process & Prices

Every tattoo is individual – and so is the way there.

Here you’ll find out how your project works at Ink Flow and how the price of your tattoo is made up.

Process – six steps

01

Enquiry

Got an idea? Send me your enquiry with the most important information about the tattoo you’d like.

02

Project check

I take a proper look at your idea and details and then get back to you personally. Together we clarify how the project can best be realised and what the next steps are.

03

Consultation / appointment

For smaller or straightforward projects, we can often book an appointment right away. For larger or more complex projects, a personal consultation makes sense so we can look at placement, size, composition and other details together.

04

Design

Once the deposit has been received, work on your design begins. Your idea is developed for the chosen body part based on the details we discussed. More about design and changes under Terms.

05

Tattoo session

On the day, we take the time needed for preparation, placement, stencil and the final details before we start tattooing.

06

Aftercare

After your appointment you’ll receive all the important information on caring for and healing your tattoo.

Guide prices

Half-day and full-day sessions refer to the total reserved time including preparation, placement, stencil and necessary breaks, not only pure tattooing time.

How much time should be planned for your tattoo is assessed individually during the project check. Not only the size matters, but also the design, level of detail, body part, design effort and scope of the project, among other things.

Minimum price

The minimum price per tattoo appointment is CHF 110. Every tattoo session, regardless of size, involves a fixed effort for preparation, workstation, hygiene and materials.

Terms

Deposit & booking

A deposit is required to confirm your appointment. It is generally 50 % of the estimated session price, at least CHF 50 and at most CHF 350. For larger or multi-day projects, the deposit is not based on the total price of the whole project. Depending on the project and scheduling, the deposit is credited against a corresponding session.

Rescheduling / cancelling

If you can’t make your appointment, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. If you cancel in time, the deposit can usually be transferred to a new appointment. With short-notice cancellations the deposit may be forfeited. Illness, emergencies and special situations are assessed individually. If you don’t show up without letting me know, the deposit is forfeited.

Design & changes

Once the deposit has been received, work on the design begins. Feedback and small adjustments are part of the design process. If the originally agreed idea, design or scope of the project changes fundamentally, a new assessment of the design, price or appointment may be necessary.

Being late

If you’re running late, please let me know as early as possible. With longer delays, the available tattoo time may be shortened or the appointment may have to be rescheduled.

Touch-up

If a touch-up is needed in certain areas after the tattoo has fully healed, it is generally free of charge. Whether a free touch-up is needed is assessed individually based on the healed tattoo. Healing loss or changes caused, for example, by insufficient aftercare, early strain or other external influences are excluded from the free touch-up.
